The Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series will kick off its 2024 season with a 15-car grid, as the series races into the new free-to-air Seven Network television deal.

There is a new team along with two new drivers joining the category, while a host of race winners from previous seasons return across six different manufacturers.

99motorsport will line up for their maiden season in TCR Australia, with team owner Marcus LaDelle at the wheel and also making his category debut. LaDelle will drive the Audi RS3 LMS chassis that was steered to the 2021 Series victory by Chaz Mostert.

99motorsport team owner, Marcus LaDelle, will get behind the wheel of his team’s Audi RS 3 LMS at Sandown for the opening round of the 2024 TCR Australia season.

“While I originally had the humble approach of putting a driver in the car, I can’t resist the challenge of steering this very fast car, and I love the Sandown circuit,” said LaDelle. “Our ultimate plan is to enter two Audis cars in the series . It wasn’t our initial plan for me to drive the car, but with the time of year it seems smart to commit to this and work on the driver for the second car.”

LaDelle brings over 20 years of racing experience to the wheel, with recent competitive outings in Toyota 86 and RX8 machinery.

The Central Coast-based race team has recently purchased an Audi from Melbourne Performance Centre, who will provide engineering assistance to the team throughout 2024.
